Exciting News!  A reprint of Jean & Company, Unlimited is now available.

My biography of Helen Perry Curtis drove up interest in her 1937 book, Jean & Company - and drove up the price on eBay and Amazon of the rare existing copies.  Now you can purchase a beautiful reprint edition, one that retains the original Grace Paull artwork, and with a new preface and forward for $24.95.

I caught up tonight on a Netflix movie that I have long planned to watch: Aaron Sorkin’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7.” Afterwards I read online about the making of the movie, and discovered that some of the interior scenes were filmed in Hennessy Hall at Fairleigh Dickinson Florham University's Campus, Madison County (NJ). Hennessy Hall, formerly Florham, is the home built by Hamilton Twombly and his wife, Florence Vanderbilt. Hamilton Twombly was the half brother of Uncle Harry Twombly’s father. See Chapter 2 of my book. Claims to fame just keep on coming!

The book has been in print for a little over a month, and is – despite limitations on public appearances and promotion events – selling well! Most gratifying!

The book is currently available for purchase at the Racine Heritage Museum in downtown Racine.

Direct orders, with the ability to get a signed, personalized copy, are always welcome! See the link under the “Contact"  tab on the website.

The book can also be ordered on Amazon, but part of Amazon’s pricing structure is that authors receive very little compensation compared to orders placed through other venues. I’m just
saying ….
